The programme will include works by twentieth and twenty-first century masters Luigi Nono, Luciano Berio, Earle Brown, Harrison Birtwistle, and Brian Ferneyhough, as well as an original improvisation.

Workshop activities will include constructing/re-conceptualizing instruments and creating collaborative pieces that relate to the "syn-aesthetics" of Luigi Russolo's 1913 Art of Noises Manifesto and Filippo Tommaso Marinetti's 1921 Manifesto of Tactilism.
